Born out of a dream, the film, part slideshow, part dreamscape, is an exploration into how information exists, is disseminated between people and then altered through forces such as dreams, misunderstandings, miscommunications or even hallucinations. Taking Henry Moore’s ‘Three Points’ and pollinating it with a croissant, the resulting footage takes on the feel of a seminar slideshow which has failed to communicate and been reduced to scribbled diagrams, a constant attempt to project ideas onto an object and a speaker who can only talk in sound effects and music. There is a desperation to communicate something in line with a historical grand narrative but the croissants and the cheesy wotsits have taken over the flow diagrams.
