Splicing together fragments of the first ever film I made with the most recent to make 100 foot, I intended to compare the language of form and content of each film to see how the may co-exist. Taking a cue from Helene Cixous’ Laugh of the Medusa 1976 I had a confidence to put together a montage of seemingly un-related scenarios and actions (such as jumping up and down on the bed a various speeds) to create my own L’ecriture Feminine.
